Police are hunting for a pervert accused of groping a woman as she entered Balham Tube station.

The 25-year-old woman was walking into the station with her friend at 11.15am on Saturday June 3 when she was approached by a man.

The suspect walked up to her and “grabbed her inappropriately”, leaving the victim “very shaken”.

He then left the station immediately.

British Transport Police have now released an image of a man they wish to speak with in connection with the assault.

The image shows a white man with dark hair and wearing a blue t-shirt and jeans.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to call 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016 quoting reference number 296.
