Detectives are investigating after a man was found dead outside a Tube station in north west London.

Police were called to Greenford Tube station at 1.46am today following reports of a fight.

Officers attended with paramedics where they found two unresponsive men aged in their late 30s.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second man was rushed to hospital with a head injury. He is in a stable condition, police said.

A post-mortem examination will be held in due course and formal identification awaits for the deceased.

Police are in the process of informing his next-of-kin.

Greenford Station is in the process of being reopened, police said.

Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made.
