A manhunt is underway after a 21-year-old was stabbed in the chest in a violent attack in Shepherd’s Bush.

Police want to speak to Joseph Ormsby, 18, of no fixed address, after the incident in White City Close, a short walk from the former BBC Television Studios.

Emergency services – including an air ambulance – raced to the scene at about 5.15pm on Saturday.

A 21-year-old man was found suffering from a stab wound to the chest, police said.

He was rushed to a central London hospital in a serious condition.

His injuries were later deemed not life-threatening or life-changing and he has been since been discharged.

He is expected to make a full recovery.

On Sunday, an 18-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

Officers from Hammersmith and Fulham CID are appealing for anyone who recognises Ormsby or anyone with any information about the incident to contact them.
