Six men charged with drug offences after 100kg of cannabis is recovered

The men all appeared at court charged with conspiracy to supply controlled drugs.

Six men have been charged after 100 kilos of cannabis was recovered.

Neil Stuart, also known as Acourt, 40, of Eltham, Lee Birks, 54, of Orpington, James Botton, 44, of Greenwich, Jack Vose, 62, of Bexley, Paul Beavers, 48, of Newcastle and Daniel Thompson, 27, of South Shields all appeared in custody today at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court charged with conspiracy to supply controlled drugs.

Four people also arrested in connection with the investigation have been bailed pending further enquiries.

They include a 41-year-old man from Bromley, a 19-year-old woman from South Shields and two men, aged 23 and 27, also from South Shields.
