Three people have been rushed to hospital after a car overturned in a crash following a police chase in north London.

A vehicle failed stop for officers in the Stamford Hill area before colliding with two other cars in the smash on Thursday night.

Dramatic footage from the scene showed a black car roll onto its roof after crashing with other vehicles in the street.

The three people involved in the crash, which unfolded at about 9.15pm, were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

The occupants of the car involved in the police chase have been arrested.

It was not immediately clear if the overturned car was the one whose driver failed to stop for officers.

Road closures were in place following the collision.

Scotland Yard confirmed three people had been taken to hospital and that their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.

A police spokeswoman said: “The occupants of the suspect car have been arrested.

“The Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed as is routine.”
