A man was today fighting for life after being stabbed repeatedly in a residential south London street.

Police were called to a fight in Fayland Avenue, Streatham, at about 11.30pm on Monday.

Officers and paramedics found a 24-year-old man with multiple stab wounds.

His condition in hospital remained critical on Tuesday.

The victim’s family has been informed as police investigate. No arrests have been made.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting Cad 8664 of August 5, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
