Police are hunting two men in connection with the near-fatal stabbing of a teenager riding a hoverboard.

Police in Hackney have released CCTV footage of two men they want to speak to after a knife attack on a 19-year-old man in Rookwood Road, Stamford Hill on December 5.

At around 3.45pm the teenager was riding a hoverboard when he was chased by two men.

The men forced him down an alleyway, close to the junction with Ravensdale Road, where he was stabbed in the face and neck.

The victim was taken to hospital where doctors said he narrowly escaped being stabbed in his jugular vein. He has since been discharged.
