Police are appealing for witnesses after three people were stabbed during a mass brawl at a party in south east London.

Officers were called to the event in Greenwich in the early hours of this morning to reports of a "large fight."

When they arrived on the scene of the licenesed party, which was being held at the Lyndean Industrial Estate, SE2, just after 5am they found three men suffering from stab wounds, Scotland Yard said.

The men - all believed to be aged in their twenties - were taken to a south London hospital by London Ambulance Service. Two of the men are in a serious but stable condition, while the the condition of the third is not yet clear.

Inspector Sean Carre-Brown from Greenwich said: "This had been an organised event with no issues, however at the close of the party a number of persons became involved in a brawl. This would have been witnesses by large number of people leaving the party."

No arrests have been made.

Any one with information is being asked to contact Greenwich CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111.
