Two supermarket workers 'assaulted' during robbery in Dartford

Two workers were allegedly assaulted during a robbery at a supermarket in Dartford.

Kent Police was called to the Co-Operative store in Colney Road just after 7am today following reports of a robbery.

Cash was reportedly taken and one member of staff is believed to have suffered minor injuries.

The second staff member was uninjured, a Kent Police spokesman said.

No weapons are believed to have been used.

Enquiries are ongoing.
