A man has been charged with a string of sex offences alongside an alleged Halloween robbery which left a woman with severe facial injuries.

Thomas Biggs, 22, faces a charge of robbery over the alleged attack on Philippa May, 43, in St John's Road, Uxbridge, on October 31.

The labourer has also been charged with seven other separate offences, including three sexual assaults on April 17 and May 22.

He stands accused of one count of attempted kidnap or false imprisonment with intent to commit a sexual offence on July 21, plus robbery and assault by penetration on October 30.

Biggs, from Wraysbury Drive, West Drayton, also faces a count of possession of a bladed article on November 17.

He appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Friday and was remanded in custody to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on December 16.
