Two arrested after man fatally stabbed in home in Balham

A man aged in his 40s has been stabbed to death in south-west London.

Police were called at 1.15am on Wednesday to reports of a man suffering serious injuries at a home in Trinity Crescent, Balham.

The air ambulance was called to the scene but medics were unable to save him.

Metropolitan Police officers are working to inform the man’s family.

The force said a man and a woman had been arrested on suspicion of murder.
