This is the odd moment an ice cube fight breaks out between customers and staff at a KFC in north east London.

Two men can be seen speaking to staff in the CCTV footage, with one of them appearing to show something on his phone to the person taking his order.

Then in a sudden burst of aggression, one of them grabs a paper cup full of liquid and ice and hurls its contents into the face of a staff member.

One KFC worker retaliates by throwing two handfuls of ice cubes back at him. Both customers then reach over the counter and seemingly fling whatever they can get their hands on towards staff.

The extraordinary CCTV clip was released by the Metropolitan Police as they appealed for help tracking down the two customers.

Police said they were suspected of attacking staff at the fast food restaurant in Albert Crescent, Highams Park.

Officers did not say when the incident took place, but it appears to have been just before 8pm on March 16, according to the CCTV timecode.

Anyone with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
