Police are investigating a road rage incident in Shepherd's Bush where a woman was allegedly spat at.

An argument is said to have broken out between the occupants of two cars in Rockley Road shortly before 2.30pm on Tuesday.

A driver later approached police in Shepherd's Bush to inform them he had been involved in the altercation, during which his car had been damaged.

Officers later traced the driver of the other car - a woman - and she was interviewed under caution.

She has now made a counter allegation of assault.

Enquiries into the circumstances continue and no arrests have been made.

Any witnesses that can assist police can call 101 and quote ref no 6023053/216.
