Children had a reading lesson with a difference when a top chef visited their school after hearing about the Evening Standard’s literacy campaign.

Idris Caldora, from the charity Chefs Adopt a School, was inspired to meet children at St Mary’s in Battersea, which is at the heart of the Get London Reading campaign.
