A21 crash: Woman fighting for her life after car overturns on busy road in Bromley

A woman is fighting for her life in hospital tonight after a car overturned on a busy road in south-east London.

Police said the female driver is in a “critical” condition after a car flipped on the A21 Hastings Road in Bromley.

Details on the woman’s age and whether any other vehicles were involved were not immediately available when asked by the Standard.

Police were called at 2.15pm and shut the road while officers investigate.

No arrests have been made.

Drivers have been warned to find alternative routes with the road expected to be closed for “some time”.

MPS Specials tweeted: “Hastings Road #bromley will remain closed for some time a serious RTC is investigated. @MPSBromley @MPSRTPC.”
