Camden Town Tube station worker punched in face as he tried to stop fight

An investigation has been launched after a man punched a staff member at Camden Town Underground station.

The shocking incident unfolded after a fight broke out at the station just after midnight on Wednesday, February 22.

A member of staff was punched in the face as he intervened to stop the fight. He later received stitches to an open cut on his forehead in hospital.

Officers have released images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to contact police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 11 of 22 February.
