Finsbury Park incident: Person dies on Tube tracks at busy north London station

A person has died on the tracks at a busy north London Tube station.

British Transport Police officers were called to Finsbury Park station at 10.40am to reports of a person on the lines.

Paramedics rushed to one of the Victoria Line platforms but the person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers are now working to identify the person and inform their family.

The incident is not being treated as suspicious.

The Victoria Line has now reopened after reporting no service between Walthamstow Central and Kings Cross due to the incident.
