A man has been left with potentially life-changing injuries after being stabbed in Holloway.

Officers were called to Hornsey Road, in Islington, just before 4pm on Wednesday where the 21-year-old victim was found with multiple stab injuries.

London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance also attended the scene.

Police have arrested three men in connection with the stabbing.

The man was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening, but possibly life-changing.

A Met spokesperson said that enquiries were ongoing.

A 19-year-old was shot in the head less than a mile away around half an hour after the stabbing.

Metropolitan Police confirmed the two incidents do not appear to be linked.
