Naked images of Jennifer Lawrence were posted onto her Wikipedia page shortly after she spoke out about the theft of the hacked images.
Two of the hacked images appeared on the website for a period of 20 minutes yesterday after the photographs were leaked in late August.
The photos, which replaced the main image of Lawrence on the page, were quickly removed by a Wikipedia administrator.
Wikipedia allows users to edit and upload their own information to pages if they can prove they are legitimate.
Feminist blog Jezebel said the account used to update the page was not associated with official editors, but instead was a sock puppet – a fake account made to look legitimate.

Talking to Vanity Fair, she said: “It is not a scandal. It is a sex crime. It is a sexual violation. It’s disgusting. The law needs to be changed, and we need to change. That’s why these websites are responsible."
Other stars at the centre of the photo leak include Kirsten Dunst, Kim Kardashian, Cara Delevigne and Rhianna.
