Kevin Spacey will mark his tenth anniversary in charge of the Old Vic by taking a break from TV’s House Of Cards to star in a one-man play from May 28 about lawyer Clarence Darrow.

Kristin Scott Thomas will star in Greek tragedy Electra in the summer-autumn season.

Spacey stands down next year as Old Vic artistic director.
