A man has suffered potentially life-changing injuries after a stabbing near Kings Cross station.

Police and paramedics scrambled to Argyle Square after receiving reports of a man stabbed.

He was rushed to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries, Scotland Yard said.

"It is believed that the victim and suspect are known to each other," a police spokeswoman said.

A cordon remains in place while police investigate.

There have been no arrests.
