Watch: Moment Lamborghini turns into a fireball in high street horror crash in Hayes

This is the horrific moment a Lamborghini sports car crashes into a Lidl sign and explodes into flames.

One man was pulled out of the flaming wreckage and treated for whiplash injuries after the high street smash.

Firefighters battled the blaze for 45 minutes in Uxbridge Road at around 1pm on Friday.

Shoppers detail the aftermath claiming the supercar hit two bollards, a plant pot, a bike rack and a Lidl advertisement hoarding before finally coming to a halt outside the discount supermarket.

A Snapchat reportedly taken by a passenger inside the car shows the driver trying to undertake a lorry before they lose control and mount the curb.

A London Fire Brigade spokeswoman said: “Fire crews were called to car alight after a collision with street furniture. One person was treated on scene by the London Ambulance Service for whiplash injuries.

“The Brigade was called at 1pm and the incident was over for them by 1.45pm.

“Crews from Heathrow, Wembley, Heston, and Hayes fire stations were at the scene.”

In the footage shocked shoppers claim the driver said the sports car was worth as much as £1million.
