Limehouse crash: Five people injured after four-car pile-up on busy road

Five people were taken to hospital after a four car pile-up in east London.

Police and paramedics were called to Commercial Road, at the junction with Island Row, in Limehouse shortly before 1.50am on Sunday to reports of a collision.

A Met spokeswoman said four cars were involved and the occupants from one of the vehicles left before officers arrived.

London Ambulance Service said five people were taken to hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries.

No arrests have been made.
