A warehouse worker has been nicknamed "Van Gogh" after transforming dirty delivery vans into works of art.

White vans sporting large portraits on their boots have been spotted across Essex in recent weeks.

The images are created in the dust and grime that has gathered on the back of the vehicles.

Several people have taken to social media to share images of the impressive artworks.

One tweeter, @blueskyprinting, wrote: "Some people see dirt, others see art!"

And now the artist responsible has come forward.

Mr Konjusha, who has not revealed his first name, is a 22-year-old east Londoner who works at the Amazon warehouse in Basildon.

He said he started making the pictures by hand to cheer up the delivery drivers.

He told the BBC: “Sometimes they can be a bit grumpy in the mornings when I speak to them, so I just thought I'd do something to cheer them up.

“They seem to really like it."
