Haunting: four ragged children in Li Tianbing’s Recruitment, on show in London

A Chinese artist haunted by his nation’s one-child policy will next week unveil his first UK exhibition of paintings - populated by his imaginary siblings.
Li Tianbing, 37, said the characters were inspired by his extreme loneliness during childhood.
His London exhibition at the Stephen Friedman Gallery, Old Burlington Street, runs from next Thursday until April 21.
