Police are desperately searching for a London black cab driver who has gone missing.

Thomas Dunkley, 40, has been missing from his home in Walthamstow, east London, since 1pm on Thursday.

It is extremely out of character for him not to return home or contact his family, Scotland Yard said.

Mr Dunkley, who is described as a family man, is believed to have been in the Paddington area of London at around 9pm on Thursday.

He is described as a white male, 5ft 10ins tall with bald head and short hair on the sides.

Officers are increasingly concerned for his wellbeing and would urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to call police on 101 or Missing People on 116000.
