Man arrested after going on the run from mental health unit in east London

A man who went on the run from a mental health unit in east London has been arrested, police have said.

Anthony Knowles, 48, absconded from the health facility in Homerton on Saturday while on escorted leave.

Officers arrested him at an address in Hackney this evening and took him into custody, Scotland Yard said.
