Man charged after football fan invades pitch during West Ham game against Tottenham Hotspur

A man has been charged after a Premier League game was disrupted yesterday afternoon by a fan running onto the pitch and taking a free kick.

The fan ran onto the pitch during a match between West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur in Upton Park.

Jordan Matthew Dunn, 22, of Dover, Kent, has been charged under the Football Offences Act and was bailed to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on September 1.

The match was able to continue without any further disruption, with the final score being 1-0 to Tottenham.
