Man seriously injured after car collides with ambulance in Golders Green

A man has been seriously injured after a car collided with an ambulance in Golders Green.

Police were called at 8.10 this morning to the North Circular Road near the junction with Connaught Drive, after the dark blue Peugeot 307 was involved in a collision with a London Ambulance Service vehicle.

Three men, who were travelling in the Peugeot, were taken to an east London hospital.

Two male passengers were later released but the driver remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The ambulance crew were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Detectives investigating the collision have yet to mark any arrests.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen the Peugeot being driven westbound on the North Circular Road immediately before the collision to contact officers.
