Mother's tribute to 'loving son' killed in Mottingham motorbike crash

Tributes have been paid by friends and family to a teenager who died in a motorcycle crash in south-east London.

Ashlee Fowler, 18, was killed last week when the motorbike he was riding pillion on hit a traffic island in Mottingham.

An RIP Ashlee Lawrence Fowler Facebook page has since been set up, where tributes have been to left describing the teenager as the "sweetest boy" and a "loving son".

In a series of messages posted on the site, his mother, Barbara Ogrady said: "Missing u so much son love u so much it's hurting its breaking my heart xxxxxx.

"To my loving son miss u so much can't stop crying love u so much love from ur mum xxxx"

Friend Kirsten Skinner said: "RIP Ashlee, I was a good friend of his and am thinking of him and all of his family, my heart goes out to all of Ashlee's family, all my love goes to you, I'll miss you lots and lots Ash, RIP xx"

And Lauren Young posted: "When I heard the news, I was so shocked! I'm still shocked! The sweetest boy. Although, you was a little terror... Taken far too soon, my heart goes out to your family. Watch over them up there Ashlee, sleep tight."

Floral tributes have also been left at the scene of the crash, on Mottingham Road, near the junction of William Barefoot Drive.

A second man, aged 17, received multiple injuries in the crash, and remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
