Motorcyclist dies after being thrown into the path of two vehicles in west London collision

A motorcyclist was killed after crashing into the back of an SUV and being thrown into the path of two oncoming cars last night, police said.

The 54-year-old man suffered serious head injuries and was pronounced dead by paramedics called to the scene in Ickenham, west London, at 5.48pm.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “Early reports suggest that the motorcycle hit the back of a Honda HRV before hitting oncoming traffic. No one else was injured in the collision.”

The victim’s family has been informed. No arrests have been made.
