The owner of a £180,000 supercar was forced to walk home after their vehicle was towed by police.

The lime green Lamborghini Hurcan was stopped by police in Cambridge Road, Kingston, at 5am on Tuesday.

Police claimed there were three people using the two seats in the vehicle and said further checks revealed the supercar had no insurance.

Officers seized the car, forcing the driver and passengers to make their way home on foot.

A Kingston police spokesman said the driver was also issued with a ticket of six penalty points and a fine.
