A re-imagined version of Johnny Cash classic 'I Walk The Line' has been released to mark the opening of an east London arts project.

Grammy and Golden Globe-nominated singer-songwriter Scott McFarnon released the re-imagined song to support The Line, which launches on the Bank Holiday weekend.

The arts project, a three-mile scenic sculpture walk, is set to feature works by the likes of Damien Hirst, Martin Creed and Gary Hume.

It has been backed by the likes of pop icon Suggs, director Danny Boyle, Mayor Boris Johnson, and former Labour minister and mayoral hopeful Tessa Jowell.

Scott McFarnon, who has worked with the likes of Beyonce and Mark Ronson, said: "The Line is a fantastic addition to the UK’s cultural landscape.

"It’s also great to be raising funds for something that will bring so much joy to Londoner’s and visitors alike. As a huge Johnny Cash fan, and a lover of art, it’s an amazing project to be involved in."
