UK garage musicians Artful Dodger, MC Sparks and Top Boy actor Ashley Walters have posed for a charity calendar to show there is a softer side to the scene.
Natalie Mayhew, 37, who has been photographing garage artists for six years, came up with the idea of a calendar to raise money for Great Ormond Street children’s hospital.
Her aim was to steer the association of the garage scene away from gangsters to reflect the artists in a more positive light.
The calendar also features MC Sparks, who took part in the calender before his death from unknown causes in June this year.
Around 50 artists donated their time for free to take part in the project and posed for images alongside patients aged 16 months to nine-years-old.
Miss Mayhew, who works full time at Google, has been selling the calendars for £10 at music gigs across the capital.
She has so far raised £1,300 with Google agreeing to double the donations taking the total to £2,600.

Miss Mayhew said: “I think if you don’t listen to garage music you can perceive it down the road of gangsters, thugs, violence – it is completely opposite to that. It is nice to show it is not what people perceive it as at all.”
Former So Solid Crew rapper Ashley Walters said: "UK Garage artists like MC DT, DJ Pied Piper and the Master of Ceremonies - they have never been involved in that side of the scene. There was a few negative stories in the press but all in all it is a very peaceful scene."
