Londoners will once again get free Tube travel on New Year's Eve.

Between 11.45pm and 4.30am, travel on Tubes, buses, London Overground, DLR and TfL rail will be free of charge.

Tube lines and the DLR will be running all through the night.

However, there will be no Piccadilly line service between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge.

The Waterloo and City line will finish at 2.30am and certain stations including Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus and Westminster will be closed, exit only or interchange only.

Millions of revellers are expected to descend on central London to celebrate the New Year including for the Mayor's annual fireworks celebration by the London Eye.
