A driver had a lucky escape after a car was left flipped on its side after a dramatic crash in Islington.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Upper Street near Islington Green around 8.30am this morning after reports of a crash involving two cars.
The crash resulted in one car being flipped onto its side and another with damage to its front.
A witness at the scene reported seeing the car left on its side while people stood around taking pictures.
Fire crews helped to remove the cars from the scene as the road was cordoned off to deal with the incident.
An LAS spokeswoman said: “We sent an ambulance crew to the scene. We checked over a man at the scene for injuries but did not take him to hospital.”
A police spokeswoman confirmed that one of the drivers will be processed for reckless driving
