Watch the moment a car is engulfed in flames at rush hour near Paddington station

Extraordinary footage of a car engulfed in flames in a street in central London has been posted online.

The dramatic film captures the car as it burned in Sussex Gardens, close to Paddington station, yesterday evening.

London Fire Brigade said there were no reported injuries and the fire was put under control within 10 minutes after crews were called just before 6.20pm.
