Gatwick is preparing for its busiest Valentine’s week on record with nearly 476,000 passengers expected to pass through its two terminals.
The airport today said that couples have been more likely to book Valentine’s trips to Belfast or Edinburgh than to Rome or Venice, which are not in its top 10 romantic destinations this year.
