Whisky night market set for Southbank

Whisky Night: the event will see a host of spirit-related attractions

London whisky lovers are set to descend on the Southbank this Thursday for a special night of food, cocktails and performance.

In order to celebrate the launch of two new whiskies Scotland’s The Singleton distillery is decamping to the capital for one night only.

Partnering with Mark Hix, who will be providing the food for the Southbank event, The Singleton Whisky Night Market will bring together experimental cocktails, theatrical whisky presentations and comedy.

Guests will be treated to an exclusive tasting of new single malts, Tailfire and Sunray, as well as food from Hix’s Fish Dogs restaurant and supper club experts Forza Win.

The world’s leading female bartender Andrea Montague will be providing cocktails for the event, while Diageo brand ambassador Colin Dunn will be on hand to offer his expertise.

Tickets, priced at £10, are available from billetto.co.uk, and include tasters of Tailfire and Sunray, an Andrea Montague cocktail, a Mark Hix fish dog, and a dish from Forza Win.
