Woman seriously injured after car crashes into building

A woman has been left with serious injuries after she collided with another vehicle and crashed into the window of a building.

Emergency services were called to the accident at the junction of Harrow Road and Ladbroke Grove, west London, just before 7pm this evening.

The woman, who was travelling with a child in the car, was cut out of the vehicle by the London Fire Brigade.

An off-duty fireman at the scene also rushed to help the emergency services.

She was taken to a west London hospital suffering from a possible spinal injury, which police said is not life-threatening.

The child did not suffer any injuries.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
