Memories, light the corner of my mind … Since the death in 2012 of Marvin Hamlisch — the Oscar-winning composer behind The Way We Were and A Chorus Line — the London stage has failed to deliver a fitting tribute despite a legion of loyal fans. On Sunday, however, the St James Theatre will right the two-year wrong with performances of Hamlisch’s most-loved songs from a company including West End star Louise Dearman. Although we’re hoping Barbra Streisand will pop in for a cheeky singalong.
