Wedding hats off to lawyer Seth Cumming and his partner Robert Rinder, who were married on Saturday in Ibiza by Benedict Cumberbatch.
The Sherlock actor, who was specially ordained for the ceremony, officiated in an amphitheatre of the Hacienda Hotel, San Miguel.
Guests included financier Ivan Massow and polemicist Douglas Murray, who reported on it in today’s Spectator diary. “As he [Benedict] explains beforehand, he is a longstanding friend of the grooms and they have asked him to act as celebrant,” says Murray. “Though he remarks that this may spell the descent of his acting career into doing children’s parties and bar mitzvahs.”
