How can young women find inspiring role models if female heroes are so often left out of the history books?

Businesswoman and star of The Apprentice Karren Brady has been arguing that brilliant women should be better celebrated. “How many people know that Lady Astor was the first female MP?” says Brady. “Or that Helen Sharman was the first British woman into space and so far the only astronaut to fly under the British flag?”
