Great expectations unfulfilled by Chilcot

George Galloway MP has tabled an early day motion deploring “the continuing failure of Sir John Chilcot to deliver his report on the invasion of Iraq”.

The inquiry, announced in 2009, was postponed in 2010 because of the election. “In the time he has worked on the report Charles Dickens wrote both Bleak House and Hard Times and made a start on Little Dorrit.”
