Teenage actress Chloë Grace Moretz was in people-pleasing mode last night, hitting the New York streets to meet fans of her new film If I Stay. The 17-year-old is an indie darling but she has some curious opinions. Earlier this month she theorised that the Sandy Hook massacre in 2012 was arranged by the US government as anti-gun propaganda. “It was another government-run thing to enhance the idea of Americans losing their right to bear arms,” she said. “If we lose the right to bear arms, they’re able to control us.”
