Joanna Lumley may be 67 years old but she is still turning Hollywood heads. Lumley co-stars with DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street, Martin Scorsese’s new film chronicling fiscal excess in the Nineties, and the pair share a kiss in the movie.
At a lunch for the film at the Four Seasons restaurant in Manhattan, writer Terence Winter revealed the kiss was unscripted and dreamt up on the day by DiCaprio and Scorsese. “We added the kiss later — it was improvised,” he told me. “No matter how old you are, you are attracted to the gorgeous Joanna Lumley.”
Australian actress Margot Robbie paid tribute to Lumley’s manners: “She was so incredible — she wrote me this beautiful letter at the end of the filming.”
