Kind stranger makes Ukip a laughing stock

Who says the days of the Good Samaritan are gone? Fi Cotter-Craig, co-author of The Middle-Class ABC, recently took to Facebook to mourn the loss of her diary, which she had left on the bus. “It was a Smythson and had only ever seen the inside of a Prada bag before. God knows what it will make of Clapton Pond.”

A few hours later, the doorbell rang and a tall, dark, handsome stranger — Yannick, from Cameroon — was standing there, diary in hand. “He had found it and come back here with it,” Craig reported joyously.

“I am completely and utterly humbled at his kindness, which I should add was not done for any reward.

I would give anything for this act of complete kindness by a stranger from another country to be brought to the attention of Farage and anyone tempted to vote Ukip.” Anything but her diary, we assume.
