Broadchurch actress Jodie Whittaker and DJ Jo Whiley joined Samantha Cameron at a Downing Street fundraiser last night for disability charity Mencap. Perhaps Sam Cam was able to pick up some hot new music tips from the Radio 2 DJ.
The Londoner recently revealed that she and husband David have been listening to the same Gillian Welch CD for the past 10 years since a guy with a purple mohawk persuaded Sam to buy Welch’s Time (The Revelator) album in a Notting Hill record shop.
