Last week, Channel 4 News sent reporter Jordan Jarrett-Bryan to Brixton to find out how “local residents” feel about the police.

A resident of Brixton, and reader of the Brixton Buzz website, tuned in expecting to hear a range of views. He says in his letter to Channel 4 News “the thing is, it’s pretty much impossible to find anyone in Brixton who shares an opinion with anyone else.”

But he was surprised to find almost uniformity of opinion among Jarrett-Bryan’s choice of vox-pops.

Our anonymous Brixtonian dug a little. He found four out of the five people interviewed are employees with advertising agency Livity, a fact not made clear in the piece. Livity’s clients include Google and, errr, Channel 4.

While Livity is a growing business it does not yet employ the entire population of Brixton.
