What a pantomime of heating disasters

On Friday, audience members at the O2 walked out of Aladdin, starring Paul O’Grady (in the guise of Lily Savage) as Widow Twankey, complaining of the cold in the pop-up theatre. Even the band were wrapped up as the heating failed. Producers say they have sorted the problem but yesterday the audience struggled to hear what was going on stage due to the loud humming of the heaters now installed around the vast auditorium.
